Well, the Grand Opening has come and gone – all the preparations, and then the day arrives and it is over! But what a night we had! Five O’clock on November 5th, and the flood gates opened! Our guests started arriving and kept coming! I looked in the Lounge at 5:20pm and I could not even get to my desk! We loved it! We had the Forge’s appetizers being tray passed, and from the Forge’s staging area, their crew kept a steady flow in and out with a wonderful beef on a spoon, chicken skewers, bruschetta,  goat cheese tarts and delicious cup cakes from our own Cakes-to-Celebrate!

In the dance area, the music was flowing courtesy of Gary from Elite Music Works, the beautiful event lighting courtesy of Jay from The DJAY Company.

The Wilson Creek Almond Champagne, Falkner’s Lucious Lips,  Leonesse’s Port and truffles, were flowing from the bar where Colt and Jess of The Crash Cart, were taking care of all our guests. We had a beautiful cheese and fruit plate from Shawna, Temecula Cheese Company and Dorothy from Fresh and Favorable Meals, and a decadent dessert plate from Leah and Delyte’s/The Castle.

Then a special guest arrived and played his guitar and sang songs we all knew! A special Thank You to Kenny Marquez! Our guests had a chance to take their pictures in our beautiful Black and White picture booth, supplied by Joe and Sassy Booths, THANK YOU, we all had fun in that booth!!!!

MAKE A WISH’s candy table started off slow but we managed to raise some $$$ to help our local MAKE A WISH children, YEAH!!!

We had a great evening with door prizes being raffled off and our Grand Prize, the Free Fantasy Wedding , with the location donated by The Embassy Suites and the rest by the MML Vendor Members, won by a military couple, Andrea and John, a USAF Military Police officer and a USMC Marine, who rushed home from the USMC birthday bash to take a picture and receive the many congratulations from all of the excited MML vendor members!

WHEW, what a night! We put on quite a show and if you missed it, you missed a wonderful evening, it was fun to see old friends in the industry, industry leaders and a great representation from all our local winery’s. Thank you to Loretta Faulkner, Nicole Blankenship, Lilia, Sue Lin and Karen to name a few of the winery representatives and the staff members of Pala and Pechanga Resorts,  the GM and staff from the beautiful Temecula Creek Inn, the event staff from the Embassy Suites , the CVB staff and so many more. Thank you all for coming out and supporting our beautiful MML showroom. I would love to name all the special guests but there are too many, so you all know who you are and we thank you for taking time from your busy schedule and coming out to cheer us on! Wow, what a great reception from the Temecula Community and beyond.. We are truly humbled! Ana, for your custom Apples with our logo, and all the others you made, THANK YOU!Jeff and Dave from UberVino, thank you for the wine with our logo labels, they were beautiful!

Patty from Creative Touch Linens, you are awesome and so are your beautiful linens, to my special Photographers, Lilia from  L Parker Photgraphy and Jake/Tobie from Ashcraft Photography, THANK YOU for all the beautiful pictures, and Leah from Life of the Party, you put on a GREAT event, and showcased your talents, THANK YOU, Dawnielle from The Divine Event, your florals were above and beyond. Last but not least, Cathy from Allies Party Rental, you always go the extra mile for the MML and we thank you and we love you!

Well, that’s about all I have to say.. The next event is our  Girls Night Out, December 4th, at the Lounge with DR. Balikain and his staff, Botox, fillers and make-up consultations by our lovely ARBONNE GIRLS, Paige and Kim ( who did our Grand Opening Make-up and made us look fabulous).
